Northern Kentucky
Eminent Domain Attorneys
My name is Bob Blau and I represent landowners throughout Northern Kentucky when the State of Kentucky or other governmental entities attempt to take your land.
If you're facing eminent domain proceedings (sometimes referred to as Condemnation) for rail-road, road and sewer acquisitions, utility substations, transmission corridors and natural gas pipelines, you're in the right place.
Although I encourage you to call me immediately if you are facing eminent domain proceedings (I do offer a free initial consultation), please take a few minutes to review the information on this page to get a better idea on what problems you'll be faced with....and what you can do about it.
Eminent Domain is granted by the U.S. and Kentucky Constitutions, and by State of Kentucky statutes. It gives the government the right to condemn private property for a public use without the owner's consent.
But the law does offer some protection to you because it demands that the government prove the need for the condemned property...and that the government fully compensate the property owner.
Here's a couple of reasons why the local, state or federal government might begin eminent domain proceedings:
- Your real estate is needed for public projects by a Town, City, County, the State or Feds.
- Your property is needed by a utility company that has the power of condemnation or eminent domain.
If you are interested in being represented by a highly skilled attorney who has almost three decades of experience representing Kentucky property owners and getting the government to offer the highest settlement....perhaps you should give me a call.
I always give my clients, and potential clients, an honest evaluation of their cases and give straight answers to any question they have.
And I really have to stress the importance of having your case evaluated as early as possible. Over the years, I've found that the earlier I get involved in this process, the better the end-result.
Ideally, I would hope to be brought in on your case before the government completes its appraisal of your land.
If it turns out that's not possible, I usually can maximize the total amount you get.
And if you do not wish to give up your property, I will help you fight the condemnation proceeding.
Although I focus on the Northern Kentucky area, I do represent business and private-property owners throughout the State of KY.
So, if the State of Kentucky, a local government, rail-road or utility company has condemned, or is considering condemnation of your property, please call me - the Northern Kentucky Eminent Domain Lawyer.
I offer a free initial consultation and can be reached at 859 441 5400 or toll-free at 1 866 464 6724 if your call is long distance.
